Acceptable use (clarified)

Meridian is a commercial software product built for researchers, educators, security engineers, and lawful commercial operators. This policy draws a bright line between what Meridian is for and what it is never for. By using the software you agree to these terms. Violations result in immediate license termination and may be reported to law enforcement.

Prohibited uses — zero tolerance

• ✕Child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Any use of Meridian to access, distribute, create, or conceal CSAM or related exploitation content. This is reported immediately to NCMEC and relevant authorities.
• ✕Weapons proliferation. Designing, manufacturing, or trafficking weapons of mass destruction, including nuclear, chemical, or biological weapons, or their delivery systems.
• ✕Election deepfakes and electoral interference. Generating or distributing synthetic media designed to impersonate candidates, suppress voter turnout, or materially deceive voters about the time, place, or manner of an election.
• ✕Mass surveillance. Deploying Meridian for warrantless bulk collection of communications, biometric data, or location data on populations without lawful authority and individualised oversight.
• ✕Unauthorised impersonation. Using Meridian to impersonate FoogleGiber LLC staff, Meridian licensees, law enforcement, or government officials without explicit written authorisation.

Permitted uses

• ✓Security research. Vulnerability discovery, exploit development in controlled environments, reverse engineering of software you own or have written permission to analyse, and publication of findings under responsible disclosure.
• ✓Education. Classroom instruction, academic coursework, capture-the-flag competitions, and training exercises conducted by accredited institutions or recognised training providers.
• ✓All lawful commercial use. Software protection, digital rights management, penetration testing with signed authorisation, red team operations, incident response, and any other activity that complies with applicable laws in the jurisdictions where you operate.

Enforcement

FoogleGiber LLC reserves the right to investigate suspected violations, suspend or revoke licenses without refund, and cooperate with law enforcement. We may require identity verification for license issuance or renewal. If you become aware of a violation, report it to abuse@getnimbus.net.
