Organizations & team keys (preview)
The Team tier unlocks shared organizations — a single workspace where your entire team can manage API keys, monitor usage, and enforce per-key budget caps without sharing individual accounts.
How it works
An organization acts as a container for your team. Once created, you invite members by email. Every member gets their own API key scoped to the organization, and the org owner can set a monthly budget cap on each key independently. This means your frontend developer can have a tight limit while your backend services run with higher ceilings — all billed to a single invoice.
What you get

- Per-key budget caps — set monthly spend limits per API key; hard-stop enforcement prevents surprise bills.
- Unified billing — every key rolls up to the organization invoice. No per-seat math.
- Audit log — see who created or revoked a key, when, and from which IP.
Roadmap status
Organizations are currently in preview for Team-tier customers. During the preview period, budget caps are advisory. Hard-stop enforcement will ship before general availability. If you want early access, reach out via team@getnimbus.net.
