Release notes writer from PR list

Feed Meridian a list of merged PRs and get polished, customer-facing release notes in seconds.

Ingredients

  • A GitHub project or linear board with merged PRs
  • Meridian workspace with your brand voice configured
  • Optional: previous release notes for style reference

Steps

  1. 1Copy your merged PR titles and descriptions into a plain text file, one PR per block separated by a blank line.
  2. 2Paste the list into Meridian with the prompt: “Write release notes from these PRs. Group by feature, fix, and improvement. Keep tone professional but friendly.”
  3. 3Review the draft. Ask Meridian to adjust sections, reorder items, or match the style of a pasted example.
