Slack / Discord thread summary
Drop a thread link and get a clean, structured summary in seconds.
What it does
Paste any public Slack or Discord thread URL. Meridian pulls the full message history, identifies decisions, action items, and open questions, then returns a markdown summary you can post right back into the channel.
How to use it
- Copy the thread link from Slack or Discord.
- Open Meridian and select Thread Summary from the recipe picker.
- Paste the link and hit run.
- Copy the output and share it with your team.
Output format
- TL;DR — one sentence summary
- Decisions — bullet list of what was agreed
- Action items — who owns what, with deadlines
- Open questions — unresolved topics
Permissions
Meridian needs read access to the channel. For Slack, connect via the integrations panel. For Discord, the bot requires the Read Message History permission in the target server.
Need help connecting your workspace? Read the integrations guide.
