Recipe: Lyric writer assistant
Generate original song lyrics with Meridian's structured prompt chain.
Copyright safety check
Meridian applies a pre-generation filter that rejects prompts requesting lyrics from known copyrighted catalogs. The model is instructed to produce wholly original compositions. Always review output before public use — AI-generated lyrics may still inadvertently echo protected phrasing.
Step 1 — Define the skeleton
Provide genre, tempo, mood, and song structure (verse / chorus / bridge). Example: “Indie folk, 90 BPM, melancholic, verse-chorus-verse-chorus-bridge-chorus.”
Step 2 — Seed the theme
Give a one-sentence thematic anchor. Example: “Driving through fog at 3 AM with a secret you can't tell.”
Step 3 — Set rhyme constraints
Specify rhyme scheme (AABB, ABAB, free verse) and syllable density. Tighter constraints produce more structured output.
Step 4 — Generate and iterate
Run the chain. Edit weak lines manually, then feed the revised stanza back as a “keep this, improve the rest” follow-up prompt.
Pro tip: Append “avoid cliché rhymes (fire/desire, love/above)” to the system prompt for fresher output.
