A structured daily writing habit that surfaces clarity, tracks growth, and builds momentum.

Ingredients

  • 5–15 minutes of uninterrupted time
  • A notebook or plain-text editor
  • One prompt from each category below
  • Honesty — no one else reads this

Morning prompts

  • Intention — What is the one thing I want to feel proud of by tonight?
  • Obstacle — What internal resistance am I carrying into today?
  • Energy — On a scale of 1–10, how present do I feel right now?

Evening prompts

  • Win — What moment today made me feel alive or capable?
  • Lesson — If today were a teacher, what did it try to show me?
  • Release — What thought or worry am I ready to let go of before sleep?

Method

  1. Pick one morning prompt and one evening prompt.
  2. Set a timer for 3 minutes per prompt — no editing, just flow.
  3. At the end of the week, read back your entries and underline patterns.
  4. Adjust prompts monthly to match your current season.
