Daily research notes condenser

Turn scattered daily notes into a single structured digest. Feed Meridian your raw markdown, meeting snippets, and link dumps — get back a clean summary grouped by topic with action items extracted.

Ingredients

  • Raw daily notes (markdown or plain text)
  • Meeting transcripts or voice memos
  • Browser bookmarks / link dump
  • Meridian workspace with Research persona active

Steps

  1. Collect inputs. Gather everything from the day — scratch files, Slack threads, voice notes — into one folder.
  2. Load workspace. Open Meridian and switch to the Research persona. Paste or upload all raw notes into a single context window.
  3. Run condenser. Prompt: Condense today's notes into topics with key takeaways and action items. Keep under 500 words.
  4. Review output. Scan the digest for accuracy. Flag anything that needs follow-up with a TODO tag.
  5. Archive. Save the condensed note to your daily log. Append raw sources as a collapsed appendix.

Tips

Batch by theme

Group notes by project before condensing for cleaner output.

Tag urgency

Prefix critical items with !!! so the condenser prioritizes them.

Weekly rollup

Feed 5 daily digests back in on Friday for a weekly summary.

Link extraction

Ask Meridian to pull all URLs into a separate reference list.
