Dashboard tour

A walkthrough of every section in your Nimbus dashboard. Learn where everything lives so you can manage licenses, monitor usage, and keep billing running smoothly.

Overview

Your command center. The Overview tab shows your current balance, active subscription tier, and a quick-glance usage summary for the last 30 days. The large violet number at the top is your available credit — this is what Nimbus deducts from on each billing cycle. Below it, a donut chart breaks down your key usage by application. If something looks off, the activity feed on the right logs every credit mutation (top-ups, auto-renews, manual adjustments) with UTC timestamps.

License Keys

Every Nimbus instance you deploy needs a license key. The Keys tab lists all keys you've generated, their status (active / revoked / expired), the product variant they unlock, and the hardware fingerprint they're bound to once activated. Click 'Create Key' to mint a new one — you pick the tier, optional expiry, and max activations. The 'Rotate' action invalidates the old key and issues a replacement while preserving the existing hardware binding, so your users don't need to re-activate. Revocation is instant and propagates to the loader on next heartbeat.

Usage & Analytics

The Usage tab gives you per-key and aggregate telemetry. The default view is a 30-day rolling window with daily-active-license bars. Toggle to 'Requests' to see heartbeat volume — useful for spotting a key that's phoning home too often (potential sharing). The percentile table shows p50/p95/p99 response times from our edge licensing nodes. Export any chart as PNG or grab the raw CSV from the dropdown. All data is sampled at 1-minute granularity and retained for 90 days on paid plans.

Billing & Invoices

Every charge, credit, and invoice lives under Billing. The invoice table is filterable by date range and status (paid / open / void). Click any row to expand line items — base subscription, overage charges, and applied credits are broken out separately. The 'Export CSV' button dumps the filtered view for your accountant. Payment methods (card, crypto via SellAuth) are managed inline. If auto-renew is on, the next billing date and amount are pinned at the top. Failed charges trigger an email and a dashboard banner with a one-click retry.

Add Credit

Top up your balance without waiting for the billing cycle. The Add Credit flow accepts card or crypto. Enter an amount (minimum $10), pick a method, and confirm. Crypto payments generate a SellAuth invoice with a 30-minute window; the balance credits automatically once the required confirmations clear. Card payments are instant. Every top-up produces a receipt in the Billing tab and an entry in the Overview activity feed. Unused credit never expires and applies to future invoices before any card charge.

Account Settings

Security and profile controls. Change your password (minimum 12 characters, checked against Have I Been Pwned on submit). Enable TOTP-based two-factor authentication — scan the QR with your authenticator app, confirm with a code, and download your recovery keys. TOTP is enforced for dashboard logins and sensitive actions (key revocation, payment method changes). The Sessions panel lists active browser sessions with IP, user-agent, and a 'Revoke' button. Email preferences for invoices, usage alerts, and product updates are toggled here.
