Zed editor with Meridian

Bring Meridian models into Zed's assistant panel in under a minute.

    Open Zed

    Launch the Zed editor on your machine.

    Open Settings

    Press ⌘, to open the Zed settings panel.

    Navigate to Assistant Settings

    In the settings sidebar, click Assistant to expand the AI configuration section.

    Add OpenAI Provider

    Under the Providers list, select OpenAI and fill in the fields below.

Recommended Models

After saving, select one of the recommended models from the model dropdown in Zed's assistant panel. Your API key is scoped to Meridian and never leaves the provider configuration.
