Product growth loop mapper
Map acquisition, retention, and monetization loops so your product compounds growth instead of leaking it.
Step 1 — Identify the core loop
List every action a user takes that generates value for another user or brings them back. Ignore vanity metrics.
Step 2 — Draw the flywheel
Connect inputs to outputs. A new invite → signup → first collaboration → invite. Each arrow must have a measurable conversion rate.
Step 3 — Find the bottleneck
Which step has the steepest drop-off? That is your constraint. Fix it before optimizing anything downstream.
Step 4 — Layer monetization
Attach revenue to a loop step that already has high engagement. Never gate the top of the funnel.
Step 5 — Instrument and iterate
Track loop velocity weekly. If the flywheel slows, revisit step 3 before adding new features.
Pro tip: The best loops are self-reinforcing. If you need paid ads to sustain growth, you do not have a loop — you have a funnel.
