Recipe: MSA / contract summarizer

NOT legal advice

What it does

Ingests a Master Service Agreement or similar contract PDF, extracts key clauses, and produces a plain-English summary of obligations, liabilities, and termination terms. Output is structured for quick review — not a substitute for counsel.

Prompt template

You are a contract analyst. Summarize the following MSA. Extract these sections if present: - Parties and effective date - Scope of services - Payment terms - Limitation of liability - Indemnification - Termination conditions - Governing law For each, write 1-2 plain-English sentences. Prefix every section with "⚠️ NOT LEGAL ADVICE." If a section is missing, note it as "Not found." Contract text: {{contract_text}}

Input format

Paste the full contract text into the contract_text variable. PDFs should be converted to plain text first. Expect 5–40 pages.
