Change your email

Update the email address tied to your Meridian account.

Prerequisites

  • You must be logged into your Meridian account.
  • You need access to your current email inbox for verification.
  • The new email address must not already be associated with another Meridian account.

Step 1 — Navigate to Settings

From the dashboard, click your avatar in the top-right corner and select Settings from the dropdown menu. Alternatively, visit /dashboard/settings directly.

Step 2 — Initiate the change

Under the Account section, locate your current email address. Click the Change button next to it. A modal will appear prompting you to enter your new email address.

Note: Enter the new address carefully. A verification link will be sent to this address.

Step 3 — Verify your current email

Meridian sends a six-digit verification code to your current email address. Check your inbox and enter the code in the prompt. This step confirms you own the existing account.

Step 4 — Verify your new email

After confirming your current email, a second verification code is sent to the new email address. Enter that code to prove ownership of the new inbox.

Step 5 — Re-authenticate

Once both verifications pass, Meridian will log you out of all active sessions. Use your new email address and your existing password to sign back in. All your licenses, keys, and subscription data remain intact.

Troubleshooting

Code never arrived

Check your spam or promotions folder. If the code still hasn't arrived after 5 minutes, click Resend in the verification modal. Ensure noreply@getnimbus.net is whitelisted.

New email already in use

Each email can only be linked to one Meridian account. If you see this error, try a different address or contact support to resolve account conflicts.

Locked out after change

If you cannot log in with your new email, use the password reset flow at /auth/reset-password. If issues persist, reach out via /support.
